Drum backing tracks, free, in your browser
Pick a genre, set the tempo, press play. Real drum grooves with fills and variations from 40 to 240 BPM, for guitarists, bassists, singers and anyone who practices better with a drummer than a metronome. Drummers get the mirror image: drumless tracks with bass and click.

Downloads and the song builder are Pro. Playing in the browser stays free.
Song structure builder (Pro)
Fills land at the end of each section and a crash marks every new section. Loop mode ignores the structure; turn it on to play or download the full arrangement.
How it works
- 1. Pick a genre. Fourteen feels, each with three groove variations and real fills.
- 2. Set your tempo with the slider or tap it in. It changes live while the groove plays.
- 3. Play. The variations rotate every four bars so it feels like a drummer, not a loop.

Questions
- Are these drum backing tracks really free?
- Yes. Every genre, every tempo, unlimited play time in the browser, no account. Pro is a one time $9 that adds downloads and the song structure builder.
- Do I need to download anything?
- No. The grooves are played live by your browser with real drum samples. Press play and it works, on a phone too.
- Can I change the tempo while it plays?
- Yes, the slider works live without stopping the groove, from 40 to 240 BPM. There is also tap tempo for matching a song.
- What is a drumless track?
- The same idea flipped for drummers: bass and click with the drum chair left empty, so you supply the drum part. Eight genres have dedicated drumless pages here.
- Where do the drum sounds come from?
- A public domain (CC0) sample library: a real acoustic kit plus an 808 style kick for the hip hop feel. Credits are linked in the footer.
